Our focused educational effort is based on the belief that children have an innate desire to learn and to discover ways to contribute meaningfully to the world community. We engage students in environmentally-aware initiatives. We teach lessons from a multicultural perspective, and we believe in a global philosophy with practical returns. Our students consistently demonstrate high levels of academic achievement as well as confidence, compassion, multicultural understanding, and independence.
From the time a student enrolls at MSD, he or she is encouraged to develop and reach their full potential. We strive for MSD graduates who are passionate about learning, articulate and informed. We aim to develop critical thinkers, and balanced learners–intrinsically motivated citizens that are compassionate and philanthropic with a global perspective. After leaving MSD, students have matriculated to a variety of middle schools including other ACIS accredited schools, as well as public magnet and charter schools. MSD is excited to extend its program through seventh and eighth grades to continue to offer its dynamic and engaging program to middle school students.
