After School Program

MSD’s After School Program is available from 3:00 to 6:00 pm daily for All Day Primary, Kindergarten, Elementary, and Middle School students. Students may drop-in for the day or sign-up for the full year. The After School program includes homework support for Elementary and Middle School students, time outside, and a snack, as well as integrated experiences including crafts, foreign language instruction, cooking, stories, cooperative games, and other special projects.

Procedures for the Drop-in After School Program:

• Families interested in utilizing the drop-in system must fill out the After School Drop-in Form and return it to the Business Office prior to the student using the program. Reservations must be paid for by credit card.
• Reservations must be made directly with the Receptionist at the front desk, in person, or by phone at 303-756-9441 and cannot be left on voicemail or email. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis, provided there is space available that day. Reservations can be made in advance and no later than noon the day of drop-in. Once made, there are no cancellations; however, a parent may move his or her reservation to a different date provided there is space available. (The parent must call by noon the day of the reservation to reschedule.)
• Drop-in hours are a three hour block, from 3:00-6:00pm only.

After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) Classes

MSD offers a wide variety of After School Enrichment classes for our Primary and Elementary students, both at 11:45am (for those students dismissed at 11:30am) and at 3:15pm (for those students dismissed at 3:00pm). These classes generally run for eight to ten weeks in the fall and six to twelve weeks in the spring, are optional, and are offered at an additional cost to parents.
