Extended Primary students enjoyed a presentation from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science on Colorado Natives. Students will also go to the Arvada Arts Center for a play, art class, and behind the scenes tour.
Lower Elementary students visited the Denver Museum of Nature and Science to visit the Space Odyssey Exhibit and Planetarium as part of their current Solar System study.
The first Lower Elementary Immersion Day was “In the Beginning”, a day- long look at creation stories from around the world.
Upper Elementary students in the Environmental Stewardship Seminar group toured Whole Foods to learn more about their composting program.
The Third Year Lower Elementary students travel to Calwood Education Center in October outside of Boulder, Colorado for an over-night inquiry-based natural resources experience.
Upper Elementary students head to Keystone Science Center in November for two nights to learn about forest fires.
