Week of Giving Thanks at MSD

This year, All About the Arts is all about Africa. MSD students, Kindergarten through Sixth Grade, will lead the audience from Timbuktu, north to Morocco, and then through the Sahara desert to Egypt. From there we will follow them on their adventures along the Nile, heading south toward Kenya and Tanzania, with a detour to the island of Madagascar. When we return to the mainland, we will continue traveling with the students through southern Africa and the Kalahari Desert.
Parents, Special Friends, and Grandparents, will join us on an action packed expedition with amazing student-made artwork and costumes, learn about cultures from all over Africa, and watch the most engaging African animals they have ever seen! The audience will be dazzled by musical magic and daring dramatic performances.
All About the Arts will be presented to parents on Parents Morning, Monday, November 21 at 9:30am (followed by visits to the classrooms). Grandparents and Special Friends will attend All About the Arts on Tuesday, November 22 (also followed by classroom visits).
