Lexi Fickenscher, Urban Farm Manager and parent of two MSD students, graduated from Oberlin College with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and has a Masters of Public Health with a focus in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Oregon Health and Sciences University. She owns her own urban farm, Potter Highlands Produce, and before that she helped to create and run Duo Urban Farm that exclusively supplied produce to Duo Restaurant. Lexi volunteered to help start the Urban Farm and officially joined the MSD Staff in 2016. Email Lexi at lfickenscher@msd-co.org.

Caleb Gruber, Vertical Farmer, graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Engineering. He is a native Coloradan raised in the small mountain town of Conifer. With a background in sustainable agriculture, permaculture, and engineering, his mission is to help build resilient communities through producing nutritious and abundant local food and to teach others the skills to grow their own food at home. Caleb has interned at The GrowHaus, a non-profit hydroponic greenhouse in Denver, and has volunteered at several permaculture farms while traveling abroad in New Zealand, Australia, and South East Asia. In addition to gardening and hydroponics, Caleb also enjoys rock climbing, hiking, camping, reading, making art, and seeing live music. Email Caleb at cgruber@msd-co.org.
